Continueing the credit card theme of high res credit cards today i bring you a platinum american express

This credit card has some really fine detail you often only find in american express credit cards. Always been a favourite; at last i have found a high resolution image. Its as if i actually own this platinum credit card.

The idea of a charge card for travel was discussed as early as 1946 but it was not until 1958 that the American Express introduced their first cards. The early ones were paper. In 1959 plastic cards were introduced.
In 1966, American Express introduced the Gold Card and in 1984 the Platinum Card. The Platinum Card had a $250 annual fee (today it is $450). It was only offered to trusted customers. Today customers can apply for it.
In 1987, American Express introduced a credit card, known as the Optima card. Customers did not have to pay in full every month. They could now wait to pay later.
Today the director of the American Express is Kenneth Chenault. The American Express continues to be one of the world’s biggest financial companies.

A HIGH RESOLUTION Credit Card update. So yesterdays credit card update was pretty stale. The credit cards were low-res which doesnt allow you to appreciate the credit card graphic.

A cool looking credit card. I dont think this is an actual printed credit card design but its certainly stylish with that giant W.

This credit card is a great design from a great bank. Nice silver leaf image printed on this credit card. It contrasts well with the black/grey background.

An annoyingly low-res credit card update

I apologise for todays credit card update; these credit cards are pretty rare and as a result i could only find low-res credit card pics. Please forgive me.
Anyways these visa credit cards are pretty unique.

Heres a nice credit card. A very blue credit card. Some nice wavy crystal design met with the words "UP". All i know is with this credit card your spending will be UP!

Another UP visa credit card. This credit card has an awesome gold mosaic designl definitely a gold credit card account holders!

This visa credit card has a nice wavy design; pastel colors galore!
This credit card is very simple and suits the cheaper less daring spender.

Similiar to yesterdays credit card update. This credit card has a very unique design. I cant quite make out the credit cards design but i think its a pair of shoes. They have a nice platinum sheen to them so perhaps a platinum bank account card?

The only better thing than spending money with a credit card is helping people. This credit card supports breast cancer and aids the cause with every credit card spending.

A cool credit card that i dont mind saying i fully support.

Misc. credit cards

Today the credit card update will just be some misc. random cards i cant think of a genre to put them under. It migth seem lazy but these are some credit cards ive been meaning to show off for some time.
 

This credit card has a really nice clean feel, i like how the logos are all color matching with the rest of the credit cards. A good credit card from capital one.

 

A nice medow for this credit card. The grass and sky looks so nice and clear you feel as if your there. A great credit card. I really like this credit card its a shame i couldnt find a higher res version.

From the same bank as before; this credit card went with the similiar nature theme. A nice credit card with minimalist raindrop pattern. This credit card is also a fave of mine; again i wish this credit card had a higher res version online.

Bank of America Accolades Credit Card

This credit card is one expensive piece of kit. Costing at $295 as an annual fee alone, this credit card is strictly for those looking for a credit card without limits. The credit card is a direct competitor to the american express centurion posted a few days ago.

While the credit card has a pretty lacklustre appearance it comes with such status and prestige that if you spot this credit card you know the owner has some major cash credit.

Spending also rewards the credit card owner with points that can be redeemed on numerous prizes.
A really cool credit card for those with heavy wallets.

Todays credit card theme is.... evil credit card corporations!

After yesterdays playstation credit card i figured id make a post about all teh credit cards made by those big evil businesses. While not strictly credit cards they do ahve the same design so i figured its still relevent.

One of the most evil of all credit cards out there. Apple are no doubt trying to take over the world so i figure there credit card would be on the top of my bad businesses credit card update!

Google is essentially going to own the web soon; these guys are seriously monopolysing the internet. One evil looking credit card.

This credit card needs no introduction... ive got nothing else to say....

Those limitless platinum standard credit cards.

These credit cards come with one expensive fee. But if your a platinum standard customer/ credit card owner you shouldnt have too much trouble.
No joke, these credit cards are incredibly expensive but you can sure damn tell. The designs have that money gold platinum credit card status written all over!

Simple clean and shiny, this credit card has no limits. No need to show off, a slick racing stripe design is all this credit card needs to boast.

The Coutts & Co – The Bank of the Queen and part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, this credit card is so rare apparently only 100 people in the world have it!

 

The Chase SapphireSM Credit Card, that jewel credit card look is insane. This credit card has no blackout time and apparently the spender gets 10,000 bonus points. Whatever that means.

Alright people; today is a much shorter credit card. Im pretty busy today with an assignment and its my birthday so the credit card update will be lesser. Ill get back to everyone in time as well.

These credit cards are always decorative with some really fancy credit card designs.

This credit card is pretty cool. The graphic reminds me of the oldschool triforce symbol and pyrimids. The credit card is a really classic design!

My loyal followers know how much i love american express credit cards and heres the gold variant. Not much to say about this amex credit card than what ive said in the past.

Nothing says gold credit card like... well solid gold bars!
This credit card is simply the essence of what it is to be a gold credit card owner. Rich and made of money!

A very nice spin on the usual credit card theme of the globe. Not only does this gold credit card showcase the beauty of the globe but some of the most famous and wonderful buildings of the world. This truly is a gold standard credit card!

This golden credit card is very modern. The imagery that springs into mind when you see this image is remarkable. What do you see? The sun? gold? money?

More American Express credit cards!

Just how many different versions of the same credit card can one bank make?
Well american express wont give up on their classic credit card design. Keeping that old school american express charm with a modernised color palette and look; AMEX sure know how to pump these credit cards out!

As my loyal followers will know im a huge fan of american express credit cards so ive searched for some of the more unique credit card designs of theirs. Ive had some success and hopefully you have never seen these amex credit cards before.

A fresh aqua blue color layout, this american express credit card looks really fresh and new. Sure to make any youngsters wallet pop.

As the credit card says, this is an american express corporate card. Very simply it adobts the traditional green/white look that we see on most forms of paper cash around the world. This amex credit card is a personal favourite.

Similiar to the last credit card in terms of colour choice, the green is more dominant for this amex card and it stays with the tradition american express layout; logo central. Its very nice, another favourite from amex.

Here is a completely redesigned, futuristic looking american express credit card. Silver on navy its really unique; unlike most amex cards its completely different from the past. Still clinging to the classic logo this amex card is one for the future.

Finally, from teh futuristic to the classics. Here is the first american express credit card. Ever. Really simplistic but still many familiar characteristics we find on amex cards today. Gotta give it to them, they have stuck with their guns and maintained that classic feel all these years. That John Smith guys been around for a while ay?

Scenic credit card theme

After a great response from yesterdays update i managed to find a collection of credit cards from a specific bank or company or some place that focused on a specific design of credit card. All the credit cards in this set were really nice and offered a unique design. I thought id share some of my favourite credit cards from this theme with you guys today.

Check out those credit card sand dunes. The sandy banks go very well with the orange and well..the real banks. This credit card is really cool in my opinion.

Here is the credit card from yesterdays credit card theme. I havnt much to say about this credit card other than what i said about it yesterday. Thought id post it to complete the set.

A tropical island the setting for this credit card. I really like this style but i feel the color looks a little washed out. Maybe a bright yellow would have suited this credit card a lot better. What do you think?

Here is my favourite credit card of the bunch. Ice caps in the distance this credit card is platinum. Very expensive stuff and you can damn well tell. With the effects of global warming perhaps this credit card wont be too relevent in a few years.

Todays theme is blue credit cards!

Blue is such a relaxing color. It always suits credit cards, that smooth regal color looks so appealing on a credit card. Calm and chilled but not showing off.

Here is one smooth credit card. Two different shades of blue on one credit card and a simplistic design. This credit card design is very popular, many credit cards mimic it to some varying degree.

The classic planet setup; this credit card is remarkable. Like the previous post this credit card is a classic and copied around the globe.

A darker shade of blue and a unique take on the globe themed credit card. This adds a three-dimensional feel to the credit card view.

Heres my favourite of the day. This credit card gives a nice full spectrum view of the globe but adding that intimate closeness with the addition of mountains. Spectacular view, it takes your breath away. A brilliant credit card!

Just one a couple credit cards today, ill plan a new themed update soon. Check out this interesting credit card, very nice design. Black on gold always looks nice on a credit card.

Fitting in with the whole "royal wedding" theme of the day check out this very royale credit card. BK crown card, god knows what this credit card would pay for but it sure is classy. Amazing credit card.

Eco themed credit cards today!

The Theme today is green or eco-friendly, the color of money and color of these credit cards!

Like most of these credit cards there is a strong eco theme and this credit card doesnt disapoint.

 

This credit card showcases some wonderful scenary, the shimmering light through the trees is sure to excite any close watching bankers.

These two credit cards take it a step further, especially the top one. Directly showing alt-energy sources, teh credit card shows your a man who thinks about their money.

Finally, a credit card that encompasses the overall message of money and the theme of these credit cards. That is the world, more valuable than money, credit cards, banks, a visa etc.

Two very nice american express credit cards

After a great response from my red american express credit card post i thought i would track down some other interesting amex cards.
Ive posted gold, platinume, silver and black variants of the american express credit card, so i looked up some harder to find colors.

Here we have a green tinted credit card. Looks really cool, matches the color of the money in your wallet so it should look good on anyone. I do wonder what bank account you require to get hold of this credit card.

Here we have a blue amex credit card. It ditches the usual american express design for a slightly more modern approach to credit cards while still being branded with the amex logo. Possibly a debit card for younger bank account owners? a savings account possibly?

Either way these are all very nice credit cards, which of these two would you prefer?
