After such a great reception the credit card comparison theme will continue for now.
Today i shall compare two top of the range gold credit cards. Which of these gold credit card wins this battle of the banks for you?!
A reposted credit card of mine but never compared to other credit cards. This gold credit card from dubai first is one mean credit card. Check out its specs.
- Contactless technology
- 1p off phone bill / £1.50 spent
- Transfer money to your current account
Receive up to 50 days interest free on new purchases if you pay your statement in full and on time every month. The minimum repayment on this card is your balance (if this is less than £25); or
whichever is the greater of: £25; or 1% of your statement balance before any default charges, annual fee and interest (to which MBNA will then add an amount equal to the default charges, annual fee and interest). You will be assessed on your personal circumstances and credit history to determine the APR available to you. This may result in you being offered a different rate than that quoted.
This credit card from visa is also very nice. The design is clear and speckled with that amazing gold texture.
- 10% cashback on petrol spend up to £30
- 0% interest on purchases for 6 months
0% interest on balance transfers for 14 months and 0% on purchases for 6 months, the balance transfer is subject to a 2.7% transfer fee which is slightly lower than the market average. Instant online decision is available. You will need a good credit rating and a minimum annual income of £20,000. This card does not allow balance transfers from another Gold account. Once the 0% period ends you will be charged an annual percentage rate (APR) of 16.9% on any purchases you make.
So those are two very valuable gold credit card accounts. How do you feel they compare and which would you take?
